Two Months

We took Lily to her 2 month doctor visit yesterday.  I was so nervous for her because I knew she'd be getting some shots.  She was a happy camper because she had no idea what she was in for.  When we went for her 2 week appointment she screamed like nobody's business so this time we brought a pacifier!

Things started out fine enough, getting measured and weighed isn't too bad.

Then we waited for the doctor to come check her out. :)

And now for the shots, she really did so well! She cried, of course, each time he stuck her and each cry got a little worse.  The first time she was like, "ow! that hurts!"

The second time time she's like, "Not again! What is going on here?!"

And the last one she was like, "Really?! Three times?!  That's just mean!!  Keep that guy away from me!!!"                  David says my face is better than hers in this pic, I really was so worried for her.  The last thing I want is for her to be in pain, but I know that the medicine can keep her from getting sick so we both just had to be brave.

Here she is today, showing off her Taz band-aids.  She had a bit of a fussy moment last night.  But she is doing well today.  She must have been uncomfortable last night because she was crying quite a bit.  It's so out of character for her to cry like that so I know she must have been feeling bad.  We gave her a bit of children's tylenol and she was able to sleep through the night.  I was worried that she wouldn't sleep well, but she did just as good as ever and slept for about 9.5 hours!  In fact, she's been sleeping pretty much all day, waking up to eat.  Those vaccines must have worn her out!  She's been smiley today when she has been awake so I'm just so proud of her! She's a brave, tough little thing with such a bright and happy disposition, and I'm glad I get to be her mommy!
