that I hope will help me set good shopping habits and save us lots of money. I've taken up the exciting activity of couponing! I've been wanting to start this for a while, but there have been other things to do, like get a job. Now that that's under control (new job is going well by the way!), I have time to do other things. I think major couponing success comes when you can really buy things in bulk. We don't have enough space for that right now but getting the basics down is going to be good for the future. I get all my info from SavvyShopper.com and I'm learning a lot. I've really only been doing it for about a month now. But saving money is exciting for me so I think this hobby will stick. My first big success: $125 worth of food for $74. So yeah, I'll be the one at Smith's with a little binder full of baseball card holders with all my coupons in them. I've been doing this with Caitlin and it's been fun. We have a grocery club as we like to call it! We watch tutorials online, we went and bought (matching) binders and baseball card holders together, and we went to Smith's one time just to right down prices for different items (this will help us know when sales are actually a good deal!). So far it's been fun, and I really hope I can get good at couponing so someday I'll be like the Savvy Shopper lady who can buy $600 worth of food for $100! In the meantime, Caitlin and I are going to a Savvy Shopper seminar! It's kind of a nerdy hobby, but you can't knock it when your saving $$$!
